Bio

After graduating from law school, Mark was selected as a Covington and Burling Westwood Fellow with Neighborhood Legal Services. Immediately after his fellowship ended, he pursued his passion as a criminal defense lawyer. Mark has been a criminal defense lawyer since January 1997. He understands how to defend against serious charges effectively. Mark serves clients throughout the District of Columbia, the Federal court of the District of Columbia, and Maryland. He has tried over 32 jury trials and thousands of bench trials. Mark has been on the Criminal Justice Act Panel since 1997. He has the legal knowledge to understand the complexities of any criminal case and trial experience to defend the accused’s rights aggressively.
